Snape Maltings A few minutes drive away, a great place for both cultural and shopping activities.
Long Shop Museum On the site of the former Garrett Engineering Works in Leiston.
Southwold Pier Great to visit any time of the year, popular with children and adults
The Walled Garden A delightful walled garden and nursery at Benhall near Saxmundham - A must for plant lovers!

Eating In
For the best in Suffolk Produce it is well worth paying a visit to the Ufford Produce and Provision Co. - you can call in (they are just off the A12) and stock up or call them and they will deliver!

Eating Out in Thorpeness and Aldeburgh
The Dolphin Inn (Thorpeness)- Close by to Coxswains Cottage, has a large garden, good home cooked food.
The Regatta, Aldeburgh - Our favourite place to eat in Aldeburgh! Always good food, varied menu, child friendly.
The Lighthouse, Aldeburgh - In Aldeburgh High Street - Good food, nice atmosphere.
Prezzo (Aldeburgh) - Freshly cooked pizza and pasta. Booking essential during peak periods.
