Set in a beautiful secluded, walled garden, The Wooden House is a wonderful 1960's bungalow complete with original fittings as well as an eclectic mix of Modern and Art Deco pieces which combine to make this a very special house.

Located off Wentworth Road (behind the Wentworth Hotel) the property has a private drive with parking.The beach is very close by and the High Street is just a few steps away. The accommodation is very comfortable and well thought out and has been furnished to make the most of the light and space designers craved when the property was built.

The front entrance leads through to the large open-plan living and dining area. The Living Room has comfortable sofas, wide screen TV with Sky Freeview and DVD player. There is a log burning stove for those long Winter evenings!

Glass doors lead through into the Garden Room which has views over the lovely garden. The wood-panelled Dining Room has table and chairs to seat 6. Off the dining area, The Kitchen is fitted with a good range of appliance including electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge.

There is a separate Utility Room with washing machine, drying area and large fridge freezer. There is a separate cloakroom with W.C. and wash basin. The bedrooms are divided between the North & South wings of the house.

The North Wing has a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a single bedroom (please note access to the Master Bedroom is via this single bedroom)

In the South Wing there is a large double bedroom and a single bedroom (with trundle bed). Both these rooms have views over the garden. All the bedrooms are neutrally decorated in soft shades and have 'retro' furniture and lighting in keeping with the house.

The cleverly terraced, walled garden, is surrounded by walls so is private and secluded. There is an area with fruit trees, enchanting lower level lawn with barbecue & table and chairs, limestone rockery and hidden children's area with trampoline and play equipment. A travel cot and high chair are available upon request.

Please note There are 2 ponds in the garden, both are enclosed.

The Trampoline has safety netting but is used at guest's own risk.

Price includes bed linen and towels (please bring your own beach towels) and all utilities.

The house has storage heaters and wood-burning stove. Sorry no pets, smoking or unaccompanied teenagers allowed.
